Welcome to the 2011-2012 Swim Season!
Just a short post to keep you aware of how things are progressing.
1. EVERYONE, please send me your personal email AND your parents' email. Send it in this form: (your first and last name; YOUR email address; parents' name(s) (not "Mom" or "Dad"!); parents email(s)). Send it to me at my school address, dabbott (AT) pj23 (DOT) org
2. When I have your email addresses, I will send you details on practice and meets, not ready to post them here.
Please do this before the weekend is over.
Because we will be sharing pool time with the club team, I still have to re-certify my USA Swimming credentials (for insurance purposes), need 2 Red Cross courses, trying to register for them now. Because of that, we will NOT start practices until I notify you through school announcements and email and here.
In the meantime, you can do some jogging, situps/crunches, pushups, bike riding, etc., just don't overdo it!
Make sure you have GOOD goggles to start with, and that your suits did not get moth-eaten, haha!
PJ23 prefers that we communicate through school email, so please make sure your primary email address for me is the pj23 (dot) org address above.

practice canceled Thursday Feb 3
Darn that groundhog!
No practice today or Friday.
The City Champs meet Saturday is still on as planned, AS OF RIGHT NOW.
I will email and post here if there are any changes.
Due to nearness of meet, parents are asked to drive their swimmers to the pool or make arrangements with other parents to get rides (will email map and directions tonight). Our warmup is 830-900am, we MUST NOT be late.
Please arrive no later than 800am, plan for extra time in driving due to unknown weather aftereffects right now.
We will keep you posted.
If you CAN'T GO, I MUST know before 230 today so we can make entry changes and not be charged entry fees for absentees.
This is the SENIOR APPRECIATION AND RECOGNITION meet, so all seniors watch for a special email from me.

PJ23 is closed today, but unless something happens in KISD, we will have practice at MRHS 630-800.
